Awesome Cups is an astral-psychedelic beach rock band from Minneapolis.  Formed in 2014 by inter-galactic vigilante Xarl from the the Mind Control Liberation based on the the planet Andorra.  Xarl hand-selected Christo Xo, Tony Kujawski and Wayne Sayres to find and liberate media mogul Barry Botman from the cutches of the enigmatic Shamantha.

 

 

As of April 2024, the full story of Zimakazuma has yet to be fully revealed, but will be de-classified this Summer.

In Awesome Cups’ second album, Zimakazuma, begins the trilogy of Barry Botman on running on the narrative of social media’s influence over society.

Here’s Some Music (pt2) was recorded live and as an improvisational piece.  The band made the ultimate sacrifice and injested cannabis (clearly for the first time) to travel along with the listener.

Proper listening to this album: Put on headphones or earbuds, lay down in the dark and just as you begin to feel high (unless you’re not into that sort of thing) start the album and enjoy!

The freshman album was an experiment to which Christo, Wayne and Tony wrote their individual songs completely independently.  None of the members were able to hear what the others were writing until the final product.
